Acts Of Kindness

Get In My Belly!

  • Fargo Moorhead Eats - this Facebook Group is the best place in town to learn about local food & drink, and ask questions.

  • Have you checked out the breakfast or lunch menus yet at Rosewild (Jasper Hotel)? Well, I have, many times. I really like the Fargoan Croque (breakfast), the burger (lunch), and the turkey club (lunch). Plus the ambiance is so nice there.

  • Get a FREE "mini" 8 oz. package of lefse with all online Freddy’s Lefse orders April 8-14.

Shout-outs & Shameless Plugs

  • Check out the ton of cooking & craft classes at The 1889 Fargo.

  • If you’re on LinkedIn, give a vote for Fargo in the Midwest Madness bracket challenge by Midwest Startups. This round ends today, and after trailing the whole time so far, as of this submission, Fargo has crept past Omaha leading by a slim margin.

  • Unglued Youth Camp tickets are open, but these typically sell out quick (and some sessions are already sold out and you can get on the waitlist). They also added the Unglued Camp Stitch (sewing) this year.

  • While they’ve been around for a long time, a lot of people seem to not know about these interesting treasures to Fargo - The Troll Lounge and the Kringen Kafe at the Sons Of Norway. If you’ve never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. The Troll Lounge is a quirky little bar featuring murals & troll statues. The Kafe is a nice lunch spot, and brings me back a bit to growing up in a small town, as it has that feel. I recommend following SoN on Facebook, as they are consistently sharing info on lunch specials and events.

Well That’s Interesting
