  • What’s playing at the Fargo Theatre? Starting 6/5, each week in June they’ll show a movie from their “90s Blast Your Face Off Action Flicks” series.

  • See the Straw Hat Players summer theater schedule here, with two shows listed as “Swing” (6/4-6/6) and “Fiddler On The Roof” (6/11-6/15).

  • Tickets are now on sale for FMCT’s “Rent”, which runs 6/23-6/30

  • The Fargo Park District has a variety of youth art classes, but check out them out sooner than later as they fill up. (Click the green Registration tab when on the page to view availability)

  • Fargo Moorhead Eats - this Facebook Group is the best place in town to learn about local food & drink, and ask questions.

  • The Downtown Fargo Burger Royale competition is running through 6/30. Over the month, try any/many of the 18 different burgers at area restaurants, and vote for your favorite. The website has photos & descriptions of each burger.

  • This pic below is a nice representation to show the various tastebud goodies you can find at Moonrise Cafe. Aside from the drinks, I’ve partook many times on their soups, breakfast sandwich & burrito and variety of excellent pastries, and also ordered a custom cake.

  • Kudos to promoters like Jade Presents, who are bringing a crap ton of shows to the area, especially this summer. Seems like a new announcement every couple of days. Many are at the new outdoor venue UP District Festival Field, but also at other great venues like The Hall At Fargo Brewing, Fargo Theatre, Sanctuary, Bluestem, The Lights & more. Peek at the Save The Date below for many of those added shows.

  • Get out and vote in ND on Tuesday 6/11, or also between 6/4-6/8 if early voting is more convenient.

  • Project 412 is hosting a pitch competition for entrepreneurs in the Detroit Lakes area. Finalists will pitch their ideas to judges and a live audience in a 12-minute presentation. The winners will share cash prizes up to $5,500. Apply by 6/7.
