  • There are two Minnesota related entrepreneurial pitch competitions accepting applications. One is Detroit Lakes-specific and the other is for West Central MN (must reside in counties of Becker, Benton, Clay, Crow Wing, Douglas, Grant, Morrison, Otter Tail, Pope, Sherburne, Stearns, Stevens, Todd, Traverse, Wadena, Wilkin, Wright.)

  • If you are a North Dakota homeowner, the 2025 property tax credit application portal is open. Homeowners with an approved application may receive up to a $500 credit against their property tax obligation. To be eligible for the credit, you must own a home (house, mobile home, town home, duplex, or condo) in North Dakota, and reside in it as your primary residence.

  • Fargo Film Festival is a month away. Be like me and get it on your calendar, including maybe some PTO to enjoy an entire day of watching films.

  • Tiny Things, co-founded by Jackie and Jordan Maahs, is an innovative gift shop offering miniature and novelty items, blending art, humor, and design. Located inside Brewhalla, it aims to create an immersive shopping experience where every tiny piece tells a story.
